One screen shows route progress, the next stop, invoices at risk, open customer issues, technician load and reports waiting to go out.
Routes, scheduling, customers, quotes, invoices, photo service reports, chemistry, sales tax and QuickBooks Online sync in one dashboard.
Most pool service software charges by the pool, by the technician or by the tier, because the software is the product. Poolside plans to earn from a platform fee on homeowner jobs its marketplace sends you. The dashboard is what lets those jobs land in a business that already runs well, so it costs nothing.
You can run your existing customers on Poolside Pro whether or not you ever take a marketplace job. The marketplace is not open yet. The application at the bottom of this page tells us your ZIPs and the work you do, so we can email you before it opens near you.
These are the Poolside Pro workspaces today. Each one fills in from your company data, so a new account starts empty until you import customers.
One screen shows route progress, the next stop, invoices at risk, open customer issues, technician load and reports waiting to go out.
Each route's stops appear in order on a map, and stop-order optimization shows the before-and-after distance and the miles saved.
Planned visits sit on a calendar beside an unassigned queue and a capacity rail per technician, and an assignment drawer moves work between techs.
Each customer record holds properties, pools, a rate card and an equipment list that flags warranties close to expiry.
Quotes for repairs and one-off work are tracked as draft, sent, approved or declined.
Invoices go out one at a time or in bulk, and card or ACH payments land in your own Stripe Connect account, with autopay and optional surcharge rules.
A completed visit becomes a customer report with photos, notes and chemistry, stamped when it was generated, approved, sent and viewed.
Readings and chemical additions are logged per visit, the saturation index is calculated, and pools with chemistry alerts are listed for review.
Collected sales tax is broken down by jurisdiction for any date range and exports as a CSV for your accountant.
Customers, invoices and payments sync to QuickBooks Online under rules you set, with a sync log and a queue for conflicts.
Each technician's on-time rate, minutes per stop, photos per visit and chemistry compliance sit in one table.
Open items after a visit go into a follow-up queue, and customer messages stay on the customer record.
The Poolside Pro product walkthrough covers each workflow step by step.
Switching is a CSV import, not a sync. Customers, pools, routes and equipment come across. Visit history, old invoices and saved payment methods stay in your current tool, so plan to run both for one billing cycle while customers re-enter card details.
Skimmer, Pool Brain, Jobber and most spreadsheets export customer and location lists as CSV. Export only the customers you are authorized to move.
Poolside reads your headers and suggests a match for each column across 32 fields, from contact and address to pool type, gallons, service day, route, technician and equipment.
Every row is validated before anything is written. Missing required fields and bad addresses are listed by row and column so you can fix the file and upload again.
Committing creates customer, contact, property, pool and equipment records. Each import keeps its own history with committed, skipped and failed row counts.

The dashboard is built for residential pool service companies running weekly routes. It also handles repairs and one-off work through quotes and invoices.

Yes. There is no subscription, no per-technician fee and no per-pool fee for the Poolside Pro dashboard, and Poolside does not take a cut of invoices you send your own customers. If you collect card or bank payments through your Stripe Connect account, Stripe's processing fees apply, and you can set surcharge rules to pass them on where that is allowed.
Poolside is also building a homeowner marketplace. When it opens in your area, jobs that come to you through the marketplace carry a platform fee that is shown before you accept the work. Taking marketplace jobs is optional, and the marketplace is not open yet.
Yes, through CSV. Export your customer list from your current tool, upload it, confirm the suggested column matches, and fix anything validation flags before committing. There is no direct account-to-account connection, so service history and past invoices stay in your old tool unless you add them yourself.
Yes, with QuickBooks Online. You choose sync rules for customers, invoices and payments, and the dashboard keeps a sync log and a conflict queue for records that need a decision.
Poolside Pro runs in a web browser today, and a native iOS technician app is in development and not yet in the App Store. Try the dashboard on the phones and tablets your crew uses before you switch.
There is no offline technician app yet, Poolside Pro does not recommend chemical doses, and visit history and old invoices do not import from other tools. Skimmer and Pool Brain cover some of these, and the comparison page lists the differences with dated sources.
We store your company, ZIPs and services so we know where pros are ready when we pick launch markets. We'll email you before Poolside opens your area. You don't need to wait for that to use the dashboard for your existing customers.
